G. Herbert Pritchett & Associates, Inc. is a real estate appraisal firm that was founded in 1987 by G. Herbert Pritchett, MAI, CCIM. The firm provides high-quality, real estate appraisal services for various property types in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and Illinois.

In addition to Mr. Pritchett, the firm’s other designated appraiser is Christopher J. Phelps, MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, AI-RRS, CCIM who was named President/CEO in August 2018.

Christopher J. Phelps

President / CEO
Christopher J. Phelps began his career as an appraiser and at G. Herbert Pritchett & Associates, Inc. in May 2002 and has been the firm’s Vice President since 2010.
He has appraised a wide variety of real property over the course of his career. He has been accredited with the prestigious MAI and SRA designations from the Appraisal Institute as well as the CCIM designation from the CCIM Institute.
Mr. Phelps graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration and also serves as a City Councilman in his hometown of Mortons Gap, KY.
G. Herbert Pritchett, MAI, CCIM
Vice President
G. Herbert Pritchett founded G. Herbert Pritchett & Associates, Inc. in November 1987 and has served as the company’s president until transitioning to Vice President.
He has more than 40 years of experience in the appraisal of a variety of real property including, commercial, industrial, agricultural, residential, subsurface rights (i.e. minerals, oil, gas, etc.) and suprasurface rights (i.e. avigation easements).
He has provided expert testimony in condemnation cases and also qualified as expert witness in The United States Court of Claims (Washington, DC), United States District Courts in Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia, various state courts in Kentucky & Tennessee. He holds the prestigious MAI and SRPA designations from the Appraisal Institute and the CCIM designation from the CCIM Institute.
Noelle Wright
Appraiser
Noelle has a multi-faceted professional background offering an exceptional 20+ year performance record in sales and business management positions. After moving from Chicago, IL in 2000 to Nashville, TN Noelle directed and coordinated Tennessee and Kentucky sales operations for: Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Macy’s, Belk and Sephora CHANEL cosmetics accounts. In 2016 the opportunity to move closer to family is what brought Noelle to Madisonville, KY.
After a brief sabbatical, Noelle made the decision to pursue a career in the appraisal field. In the last three years she has developed the experience needed to assess and evaluate data, understand the laws and regulations surrounding property appraisal while building great relationships with her clients.
Utilizing the skills from her many years of managing numerous accounts has aided in her ability to have a good aptitude with technical and analytical data. In addition, Noelle prides herself on not having preconceived notions during a home evaluation and an unbiased, independent opinion of value for a property. Her priority is to provide a friendly customer interaction, while conducting a formal appraisal that is credible and delivered in a timely manner.
